The Great Milton Friedman

Two great videos of Milton Friedman extolling the virtues of capitalism. The first is highly relevant today with Obama's "get the rich" populism. In it, Friedman points out that the rich do not "hoard" their money. Rather they invest it in productive ventures that benefit us all, thereby raising the standard of living for everyone. He also points out that bad government policy is responsible for far more poverty and misery than capitalism. I would add to that government corruption and theft.

In the second video Friedman makes the point that greed: individual self interest, is the only system that works.
